Your tour will start with a bus trip to the transfer vessel dock where you are outfitted with your snorkel gear. On leaving the Shallow Draught, your guide explains the proper use of the snorkel gear and Power Scooter. A fifteen-minute ride on a power catamaran will take you into historic Carlisle Bay home to the famed wrecks Berwyn and Cornwallis. With the beautiful aquamarine water as the backdrop, and the general safety instructions from your guide, you are ready to take the plunge as "James Bond" would with your power snorkel gear! Once you are comfortable with your snorkeling equipment you will receive your individual Power Scooter. These scooters are simple to use and safe to operate. After a few minutes orientation, your guide will lead you on a fascinating tour over wrecks that date from the early 1900's to the late 1900's. Your guide points out underwater features of interest and describes the delicate natural balance of the coral reef ecosystem. After thirty minutes of guided snorkeling, the tour returns to the boat or platform. You are then given your power snorkel and after a brief orientation you start the tour exploring additional points of interest in the peaceful atmosphere of Carlisle Bay until the all aboard call is given.
